I wanted to show off the baby sweater for my new granddaughter. I finished it yesterday. I don't say a knitted item is finished until the ends are woven in, the buttons are attached and it's been washed and blocked [if necessary]. So, finally, it is! I used Katia Mississippi 3 on size 2 and 4 needles.
And I also finished lengthening the sleeves on the sweater I gave my older granddaughter for Christmas last year. As she lives in a part of the country which is now experiencing tremendous heat and drought, I'm in no hurry to send it to her. She probably won't need it until February. By which time she will have outgrown it, no doubt.That means there's nothing on my knitting needles right now. Nothing! I need to make a charity item for the Roanoke NoSo in September, and also need to make three Christmas stockings. Will have to order yarn for those, I think.
If you're racing today, I hope you did well! Also? It's so nice to know I'm not the only one who craves a DQ every once in a while.

The sweater looks lovely. Those are very pretty colors and very complimentary. I'm glad you have a new baby to try out new baby patterns.
I love the colors too. I'm more of an earth tone girl. What a lucky baby to receive such a wonderful, hand-made gift.
When she outgrows the sweater, maybe purchase a teddy bear and let him in wear the beautiful sweater.
I loved your DQ post. I had been craving a dilly bar but the nearest DQ is 2 towns away (around 25 minutes).
