Done!

The official results aren't yet available, but my best estimate is that it took about two hours and 35 minutes to FINISH my first half-marathon!

It was soooo much fun.

I'll write more on Monday, and will have pictures to share then, too. My daughter did a wonderful job and also was so much support for me in this crazy plan.

Thanks again for all the cheerleading!

I watched your time online. It was so cool. CONGRATULATIONS -- I'm so thrilled to hear you had fun. That was the important thing! It will be hard for you to run all by yourself after how many people ran with you?

Hugs!! and good wishes coming your way!

Good for you! I looked at the results from last year and the Women's winning time was 2hours and 35 minutes! You must have been in the top!
Brava! Brava!

Thanks, y'all! (Since I'm in Nashville I can say that. Heh.)

The live result time is calculated with a start time of 7 a.m. My corral didn't start until 8 or maybe a little before.

And that fantastic finish from last year was probably for the women's marathon ... not the half. I overheard a woman who looked about 10 years older than I am tell a friend she finished in 2:10.

I have a ways to go.

Wooohooo! Congratulations, my racing friend! I'm so happy that you enjoyed yourself so much - you were a winner before you even started and now you have a time to prove it. Hope y'all are having fun in Music City.

I lived in Kentucky for 8 years, so I say "y'all" all the time with pride. Congrats on finishing! I checked the online results this morning too and was impressed enough when I thought you finished in 3:35 and am now *really* impressed you actually did it in 2:35

Yay, congratulations! You must feel such a sense of achievement! Now you've earned the right to put your feet up for a day or two before you start training for that full marathon in 6 weeks! ;o)
