I'm sure I've said this before, but … DUH!
But then that's how most quotes affect me. I read something pithy and wise said by someone [usually] famous and go, "Wow! I coulda had a V-8!" Or the equivalent thereof.
Today's quote works for sooo many situations, including:
- Food choices
- To snack or not to snack?
- Time spent working out
- Workout activities
- Hell, whether to work out at all!
This much I know: Everyone responds better to a soft word and a kind heart. I not only need to apply this, I need to be willing to apply it.
I'll get around to working out consistently when life settles down. Which should be, oh, sometime before 2009.
I hope.

Debi - hope all is well with you.
just thought i'd leave you a quick note from one WV'ian to another. i'm a transplant now, though. i'm in FL. have been forever. my mom's still in WV, though. she'll never leave. i love it there, but only to vacation. the economy just gets me down.
i love your blog and i love to knit also. i prefer crochetting, but knitting is fun too. i love scrapbooking and genealogy, too.
but my main focus in life right now is my diet. i've lost a total of 70 pounds. started WW last May. i'm about half way there. it's so hard. i'm losing my addiction to food, very slowly.
well, hope to hear from you soon. have a great weekend!
Have a nice weekend Debbi.
My favorite speaker Jim Rohn says that wisdom undeposited is useless. There is so much great inoformation about healthy living around now. Blogs like this provide us with the correct information. It is then us to our own discipline to put it into practice.

I've been having a lot of luck with burning calories, not just hiding from them and trying to control my appetite. Working out makes me hungry for healthier foods. Good luck and thanks for being here.
Those quotes are great. I do however think that sometimes being willing in a situation allows you to get out of it::) Oh nevermind about that. Fun blog. I lost 130 lbs on WW and am just working on keeping it off. Just checking out different weightloss blogs.

To snack or not to snack...and before we decode on that we are snacking again.
So many people seem to be struggling to lose weight . . . I just thought I should share my new favorite weight-loss system - Isagenix. My family (parents & siblings) found this after they moved away. At first I hesitated trying it . . . even after they ALL lost weight. But finally my mother convinced me, and starting last month, I began the system. I can't believe I have already lost almost 20 pounds! I was just shy of 200 lbs, which was the heaviest I have ever been, and now . . . 182.4 as of yesterday morning! And its only been 7 weeks. And my husband has lost even more than me! Two months ago I thought this was impossible. I have pain in my hip and neck that really limit my exercise, and I work full time, which makes it hard to find the time to constantly buy and prepare healthy meals. But Isagenix is fast, easy, and very healthy! I spend less on isagenix meals then what I was spending before, and the meals are super fast to prepare. The website is http://reachyourdream.isagenix.com . If you sign up as an associate you get to buy at wholesale prices, which is a lot cheaper! No obligation to sell it, but you can earn $ signing other people up if you just want to. Any questions, just ask me! reachyourdream.isagenix@gmail.com

That really got me thinking....I don't often take the time to really think deeply about life, I am usually far too consumed with everyday responsibilities...
