Blog Break, the Sequel

While I know you all meant well with the fiber advice, I want to reassure you that my doctor and I are handling my digestion problems just fine. And the Atkins approach offered by eDiets provides plenty of fiber from vegetables. I need to be more careful with my writing! I truly didn't mean to sound like I was asking for advice.

I'll be computer-less for the next two or three days ... but that's sometimes a Good Thing. Maybe I'll have to write a couple journal entries by hand, with a pen, and paper!

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

I'm way behind on reading, but wanted to leave a comment with one more idea about the outside vs. treadmill. I had a friend who suffered from seasonal affective disorder (seasonal depression) after moving to England. She took up jogging so that she was outside, in the sunlight, as much as possible, even in dreary weather (which they have lots of).

I have found that this FL gal had some of the same trouble after my move to PA. If we have a long, gray winter, my spirits are down.
For me, even snow is better than week after week of gray (at least it's bright!) So getting out, even on that less than perfect day weather, when you are tempted to head for the treadmill, is a big help.

I started South Beach Diet, am on day 13 and have lost 14 1/2 pounds. 5 of those were probably all water coming off the first couple of days, but hey, off is off. I have a LONG way to go.

Keep up the good work. Have a great holiday.

You never need to ASK for weight loss advice to get it, don't you know that by now? ;) Especially in the Holy Wars of diet plans, people have very strong feelings.

I love yogurt (I buy Stonyfield Farm, it has the "good" bacteria too) but haven't gotten to the point where I like the plain stuff on its own yet. I've never tried the greek-style stuff but everyone says it's fabulous.
